The Manchester CBT Clinic
Individual Therapy
Online and in-person CBT with David Knight
The Blueprint workbooks give you the clinical tools to work independently. But some difficulties benefit from individual therapy — a structured, confidential space where the work can be tailored precisely to your situation, your history, and your goals.
David works with clients online via video call and in person, with individuals across the UK, Europe, and the United States.
what david works with
CBT is effective across a wide range of presentations. David's clinical specialisms include:
OCD and OCD-spectrum difficulties
Intrusive Thoughts/Pure O
Body Dysmorphic Disorder
Anxiety disorders — generalised anxiety, health anxiety, panic, social anxiety, phobias
Depression and low mood
Insomnia and sleep difficulties
Stress and burnout
Low self-esteem and self-confidence
Perfectionism
What to expect:
CBT is structured, evidence-based, and time-limited. Sessions are typically 50 minutes. A standard course of therapy is between eight and twenty sessions depending on the presenting difficulty, though this is discussed and agreed at the outset.
David works collaboratively — sessions have an agenda, progress is monitored, and there is work to do between sessions. If you have had therapy before that felt open-ended or unfocused, CBT will feel different.
